Play Piper's Enhanced Base Station Curriculum Wins Future’s Best of Show Award, Presented by Tech & Learning

San Francisco, CA – Play Piper is proud to announce that its Enhanced Base Station Curriculum has been honored with the Future’s Best of Show Award presented by Tech & Learning at ISTELive 2025 in the Primary Education category.

The Best of Show Awards recognize the most innovative and impactful products showcased at ISTE, evaluated by a panel of expert judges and editors. Each entry is scored against criteria including innovation, feature set, performance, and potential to support teaching and learning.

“We’re honored to receive the Best of Show Award from Tech & Learning for our Enhanced Base Station Curriculum. At Play Piper, we’re committed to empowering educators with tools that make STEM learning hands-on, meaningful, and fun. This recognition validates the work our team has poured into designing experiences that spark curiosity and confidence in every learner,” said Bob Wood, President of Play Piper.

Play Piper’s award-winning curriculum is part of the Piper Make ecosystem, which combines physical computing and coding through a series of standards-aligned, hands-on projects. The new curriculum, now available at teach.playpiper.com, includes 17 interactive activities delivered over 14 instructional sessions, covering topics from LED blinking and loops to AI and sensors — all designed to make STEM accessible and engaging for elementary and middle school classrooms.

Winners of the Best of Show Award receive a crystal-glass trophy and are featured across Future’s education media platforms, including AV Technology, online articles, newsletters, and social channels. Public announcements were made during ISTE at the Tech & Learning reception, with continued promotion following the event.
